HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A FIRMA BRUSH?

It takes about 5-6 weeks from start to finish for the Signature, Pink & Voyage lines.

HOW ARE FIRMA BRUSHES MADE?

This is the quick version: hair is washed, dried, combed, blended, shaped, washed, dried, assembled, checked. This is a very complicated process that only the most skilled artisans succeed at.

WHAT TYPE OF HAIR IS USED? WHAT ABOUT ANIMAL CRUELTY?

We only use first cut goat hair in our Signature line (some brushes are blended with synthetic)

HOW IS THE HAIR PROCESSED?

It is washed and air dried two times, during which time it is also combed to get the broken ones out.

When the hair is ready, the brush shaping process starts. After the brush is complete it goes through another washing and air drying process.
