Real Queens Fix Each Other’s Crowns
This amazing masks on and very Covid conscious Gastown salon reopening event was planned by BC event planner, Beyond The Vows Events. Though both Joanna and Faye wish they could have invited more people, only thirty two very special guests could be invited due to the salon’s current capacity of only eighteen people. This salon follows all COVID-19 Health & Safety guidelines in order to keep the salon safe for both the employees who work there, and the customers that continue to enjoy beauty services and support this small business.
At this Gastown salon reopening event, guests were given their individual arrival time between 6am and 8pm. They were to arrive at the salon in groups of four every fifteen minutes. At the time of arrival, each guest got to meet co-salon owners, Faye Smith & Joanna Keller. Quick Image Photo Booths and Vancouver Event Rentals created a beautiful photo booth set up for guests to relax and enjoy before they were escorted to the outside portion of the event. All alcoholic and non-alcohol beverages were sponsored by Pyur Vodka Soda, Lone Tree Cider, We Love Van and Shang Bev Co.
Once guests were done spending time in the salon, they were given their swag bag and escorted to the outside space where Manat from Beyond The Vows Events had a beautiful setup waiting for them. A huge thank you to our neighbour, Avleyn Florist, for creating the beautiful floral arrangements that had our guest’s jaws dropping.

The delicious deserts above were supplied by The Sweet Alley, Sweets by Zee and Cartems doughnuts. It was a bit carb overload but everyone enjoyed it!
